Limits on Cosmology from Infrared Galaxy Number Counts

Abstract:
We analyze deep number counts
in the $H$-band and compare them with the predictions of various cosmological
models. Our data favor low density universes with $\Omega_M < 0.3$ and
$\Omega_{\Lambda} < 0.5$ with galaxies forming early.
