I. PLACE AND DATE
The XXXXth Moriond Workshop will be held in La Thuile , Italy, from Saturday March 12th to Saturday March 19th 2005. It will be devoted to Very High Energy Phenomena in the Universe.
La Thuile is a is a pleasant winter sports resort located the Italian Alps, at 1450 m alt., about 120 km from Geneva.
The nearest international airport is Geneva (Switzerland). If you arrive in Geneva international airport, do not forget that you may need a transit visa, coming through Switzerland to Italy (this is certainly the case for Russian and Korean participants).

II. PURPOSE OF THE RENCONTRES
The purpose of the Rencontres de Moriond is to discuss recent findings and new ideas in particle physics and astrophysics in a pleasant, relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The meeting intends to promote fruitful collaboration between various communities and between various institutes by bringing together a small number of scientists in beautiful and inspiring surroundings.

3. Contributions
The detailed program of the meeting will be established according
to the latest experimental and theoretical results at the time of the meeting.
Participants who wish to present new results are requested to send an
abstract of their proposed presentation
through the
Contribution Form to
Jacques Dumarchez (jacques.dumarchez@cern.ch) as soon as possible
(before January 31st 2005 at the latest).
Due to limitation of time, only a restricted number of talks
can be accepted.
According to the tradition of the Rencontres de
Moriond, a large amount of time will be reserved for both
organized and spontaneous discussions.
Hence all participants are expected to play an active role during
the entire meeting. Please remember that we make a special effort
to bring together theorists and experimenters:
theoretical talks
should be prepared with experimenters in the audience in mind,
and experimental talks should likewise be aimed at theorists.
Proceedings of the conference will be published. Instructions will be distributed during the Rencontres. Deadline for contributions will be May 15th 2005.
IV. PRACTICAL ORGANIZATION
1. Workshop schedule
The workshop will begin on Saturday March 12th 2005 at 18h00 and will end on Saturday 19th, at 11h 30. For the other days, working hours will be: 8h30 - 11h30 and 16h30 - 20h30.
2. Conference facilities
The following equipment will be available: a projector for computer presentations, and an overhead projector for transparencies. Speakers can bring their presentations on their laptops (while the compatibility of such devices has improved recently, we ask you to bring a back up copy for overhead projector).
3. Transparencies
The transparencies will be posted on the web just after the conference, in their original format (.ppt, .pdf, .ps, .doc) or only in .pdf if requested.
4. Conference Fee
The conference fee for participants is 330 euros. It will cover the cost of the copy of the proceedings and the cost of all social events.

Credit cards are not accepted for Conference Fee payments but are accepted for the hotel bill (See below)..
5. Accommodation
Housing will be in Hotel Planibel, La Thuile. Meals will be served in this hotel for all participants.
The hotel bill shall be paid directly to the hotel. Major credit cards (for the hotel accommodations only) are accepted.
The total cost (full board) will amount to 546 Euros (double occupancy). It will be difficult to obtain single rooms. Only a few will be available at an additional cost of 140 Euros. Single rooms should be reserved before January 15th, 2005.
For accompanying members, the costs are as follows:
- 546 Euros per adult
- 406 euros per child (6 -10 years old)
- 273 euros per child (4 - 6 years old)
It will not be possible to find accommodation for your family if you
have not requested it by December 31st, 2004.
Important notice: Hotel reservations are made for the whole session: i.e. from the evening of Saturday March 12th to the morning of Saturday March 19th (including lunch before departure of the conference bus to Geneva). Please note that the total cost of the meeting will not be reduced even in case of partial attendance.
Cancellations of hotel reservation should be made before February 15th, 2005. After this date, the hotel will charge us for the entire cost of accommodation and we will have to ask the participants who cancel their attendance later, to pay for the total accommodation as listed above.

Partial support from the European Union "Marie Curie" Program is available for a limited number of scientists:
Associated states are: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland.

2) From Geneva Airport to La Thuile
a) Conference bus
departure from Geneva International Airport on Saturday March 12th:On saturday, March 12th
Return conference buses are scheduled to leave La Thuile on Saturday, March 19th at 13h00 sharp (after lunch) and will reach Geneva airport and then CERN (if requested) around 15h30, depending on the traffic.
b) By car
La Thuile can be easily reached by car from France: by the A40 highway to St Gervais, then by the E25 to Chamonix, Courmayeur and Pré Saint Didier and then turn right, direction to La Thuile via Strada Statale Valle d'Aosta (10 km). If chains are necessary, the sooner you put them on, the better.
The price for a taxi from La Thuile to Geneva Airport is approximately 250 euros for one person and 90 euros for a grouped shuttle (www.ats-italy.net).

Cost: 35 euros one way - 70 euros with return reservation.
You must reserve seats on the bus 6 days before the arrival
or departure date. The hotel in La Thuile will do this for you:
you should let them know your name and surname, the number of
persons using the transfer, your mobile phone number and the
flight number and arrival time in Milan Malpensa airport.
A hostess will wait for passengers at the meeting point.

The price of a taxi from La Thuile to Milan Airport is
approximately 335 euros for one person and 100 euros
for a grouped shuttle.

the invitation is not considered as a registration.
Registration for your attendance to the workshop and hotel reservation will
only be made on receipt of the registration form
(paper or web). Please return your registration form
as soon as possible ! If it is not received by January 31st, 2005,
we may not be able to get hotel reservation for you.
