The hotel reservation is made EXCLUSIVELY by the conference secretariat upon your registration and communicated by email

DO NOT book your own accommodation, or you won’t benefit from the full board group rate

If you are contacted about the booking by an external company, please do not respond

The accommodation is NOT included in the conference registration fees

Planibel Hotel

La Thuile, Valle d'Aosta, Italy

La Thuile is a pleasant winter resort located in the Italian Alps, at 1450 m. alt., about 120 km from Geneva

In addition to ski and related activities, Aosta valley provides nice walks as well

The ski domain communicates with the French domain of La Rosière and has more than 150km of slopes

The hotel is located close to the village center, about 10 minutes walking distance

It includes the rooms, the conference rooms and the restaurant

Also, it has a direct exit to the ski area

The conference is allocated a limited number of rooms, hence most rooms must be shared

Single rooms will be attributed in priority to senior participants. Students and Post-docs are attributed shared rooms by default

You are welcome to let us know with whom you wish to share a room

Different kinds of rooms:

- in the main building :

— rooms with 2 single beds or 1 large bed, 1 bathroom and a balcony

— rooms with 3 single beds or 1 large bed + 1 single bed and 1 bathroom

- in the residence :

— apartments studio with 1 large bed or 2 single beds, 1 sofa bed, 1 bathroom, a large table and a balcony

— apartments with 1 room and a living room - 1 bed in room, 1 sofa bed in the living room , 2 bathrooms, a large table and a balcony

— apartments with 2 rooms and a living room - 2 bunk beds in one room, 2 single or a large bed in one room, 1 sofa bed in the living room

The cost is per week and per person

It includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as daily entrance to the spa and swimming pool

Single room - 1 person

Cosmology — 1225 €

EW + MESO — 1190 €

QCD + Gravitation — 1050 €

Shared room - 2 persons

(One large bed or two single beds in room, studio apartment or 1 room apartment)

Cosmology — 945 €

EW + MESO — 910 €

QCD + Gravitation — 805 €

Shared room - 3 or more persons

Price to be calculated case by case, but a reduction will be applied

The deposit must be paid at latest 4 weeks before arrival

50% of the fare, to be paid by bank transfer or credit card. If you prefer, you can also pay the full amount instead of 50%

The balance is to be paid in place, at latest the day before departure.

When your registration is confirmed, you will receive a document with instructions and amounts

This document must be signed and sent with the payment

The payment receipt will be handled in place.

Please check carefully that it contains the necessary information for your accounting service, once it is issued, they can not be modified

Participants are welcome to attend with their families

The week rate is the same applied to participants in a shared room

Children from 3 to 12 years old pay 50% of the rate

Under 3 years old the rate is 210€, it includes a cot and adapted meals in a dedicated dining room

If accompanying persons do not stay for the full week, the daily rate is as follows:

Cosmology — 135 €

EW + MESO — 130 €

QCD + Gravitation — 115 €

Participants will then pay a mixed price of single and shared rate

The hotel has a covered parking at 12 €/day

If you prefer a free solution, there are 2 parking lots at about 300 meters from the hotel, one by the village bus station, just after the bridge, another going up in direction of the cable cabins

Cancellation is possible without penalties until 2 weeks before arrival, the deposit will be refunded

After that, unless you find a replacement participant or provide a medical certificate or other valid document justifying your cancelation, penalties apply as follows:

From 14 days to 8 days before arrival, 50% of the deposit will be retained
From 7 days to the 1 day before arrival, the full deposit is retained
In case of no show, the conference fees will also be retained

Important notice

Hotel reservations are made for the whole session -i.e. , for 7 days, including lunch before the conference bus departure

Short stays, if accepted by the organisers committee, will not benefit from the group rate. The public rate will then be applied.
