GETTING TO LA THUILE


——Conference bus——

The best way to get to La Thuile is taking the conference pick-up bus at Milan airport or Geneva (train station or CERN)  on Sunday -> this choice is to be made on the registration form. Click for more information


The conference pick-up bus operates on first and last day of each conference and is included in the fees for participants and their accompanying persons


On registration you will be asked to choose your pick-up point - places need to be booked in advance, changes may not be guaranteed

Pick up time is PRELIMINARY at this stage, final schedules will be determined upon registration deadline, detailed information will be available here and communicated about a week before departure

By car or by taxi, driving to La Thuile from Geneva takes  about 2 hours if traffic is smooth.

Itinerary from from France

By the A40 highway to St Gervais, then by the E25 to Chamonix, Courmayeur and Pré Saint Didier. Then turn right, direction to La Thuile via Strada Statale Valle d'Aosta (10km)

DO NOT TAKE THE MOTORWAY AFTER THE MONT BLANC TUNNEL

 

Parking

Available at the hotel at 12 Euros/day, to be booked in advance

Free outside car park about 300 meters away from the hotel, in direction of the village


Ride sharing

If you have free seats and are willing to share the ride, let us know, we will put you in contact with participants whose schedule is not compatible with the conference bus
