Apply for registration

Important information before you register:

Due to the Moriond format (plenary sessions covering a very wide field) and the limited housing availability, we can accommodate only a finite number of participants. For this reason, your registration might be on hold.

Submitting a contribution :

Registering does not imply a contribution. If you are an invited or designated speaker you still need to register.

If you wish to give a talk, you should see the specific conditions of the session you are applying for under “contributions” .


Cancellation:

Cancellation should be notified as soon as possible but no later than 2 weeks before the conference. 

Any paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Hotel cancellation is possible under specific condition. See the hotel section for more information.

Upon application, you will receive an email with instructions. Your registration is complet at reception of the registration fees

Cost of conference fees

Regular: 400 euros - to be paid upon application at reception of the payment link — but no later than the deadline

Late: 450 euros - for any application occurring after deadline

(see your session’s deadline for application)


Payment Methods

  • Credit Card: you will receive the credit card link at registration application
  • Bank transfer: bank account details will be sent on request if credit card payment is not possible
  • Bon de commande (for French institutions): is accepted to validate the application, ask us for a quote
  • Cash:  euros are accepted in exceptional cases only, where no other payment is possible
  • In case none of these methods work,  contact us  


Registration fees do not cover the hotel expenses :

Hotel expenses (accommodation and all meals) are paid to the Planibel, you will also receive instructions on how to proceed after your booking is secured by registration.


Cancellation

In case of cancelation the fees will be refunded

You can also choose to keep a credit for a further edition of the Rencontres de Moriond

Grant support 

Registration fees are not covered by grants






Grant support 

A limited number of grants can be provided to help participants covering living expenses (accommodation and meals)

Before applying for a grant, check the following information




This support is strictly based on actual need. For instance, we typically expect large collaborations to support their speakers

The resources are used in priority for young scientists, then for scientists from developing countries, but other situations are considered on a case-by-case basis

It is not mandatory to hold a presentation in order to benefit from a grant

Fees are not covered by the grant

 The deadline for application is 

  •     November 24th for Cosmology
  •    January 10th for EW, Meso, QCD & Gravitation

    Results on the selection will be communicated before registration deadline


Grants may cover - fully or partially - living expenses (meals and room) on the shared room rate basis. These expenses are paid by the organisation to the hotel. If you request a grant, do not pay the hotel before receiving a result. No reimbursement of paid expenses will occur
